The Matura is an examination in Austria and is the final examination of a general secondary school (AHS) and part of the final examination of a vocational secondary school (BHS). Completion of the Matura entitles the holder to unrestricted access to study at universities, colleges, universities of applied sciences (FH), teacher training colleges (PH) and to attend colleges.
