Nursing assistants level 1

Nursing assistants level 1 carry out tasks in various care and treatment situations for individuals of all ages. This includes mobile, outpatient, day case, and inpatient forms of care, such as home care, hospitals, or nursing homes. Additionally, nursing assistants level 1 carry out specific measures in the field of medical diagnosis and therapy as delegated to them by doctors or nurses.

Education:

The education lasts 1 year (1,600 hours) (either at a school for health care and nursing or on a nursing assistant course). There are also other education paths, including schools for intermediate vocational education, apprenticeships, and within the context of social care professions. After completing their eduction, nursing assistants level 1 must register with the Register of Health Care Professions to be eligible to work as a nursing assistants level 1.
